Mode where we looks for Hylotl clues in village and on an Ocean planet. Oddly enough, I had no Floran settlements on jungle planets in my starting area, but I had 2 on a desert planet. Hopped to a desert planet, finally found two small puddles of oil, and luckily i had enough MM upgrade items to get the liquid absorb.made my lanterns, went underground, found a challenge room, eventually found a nice gold vein or two. was a pain because first i needed to find oil to make a backpack lantern to do some serious mining. If you are a Floran, they are in awe of your spacecraft, if you are a Hylotl they are aggressive, if you're a human they are neutral. It appears as such due to the Florans primitive way of living. Got a little distracted because i wanted to unlock all the techs, went looking for gold ore for the third tech quest update. Floran Village contain Floran Treehouses, many Floran NPCs, Floran bamboo huts, Floran shops, and Floran-themed decorations. Most Florans also dont care much for history (as opposed to tradition, which seems to carry strongly in Floran villages). Only specific objects provide progress points toward quest completion when scanned. Hylotl settlements are most likely to be found underwater on ocean planets as these planets contain only Hylotl dungeons & villages. I finally found some unexamined locations in the outpost and finished that one, got the quest to scan florian objects. For this quest players need to scan a number of Hylotl themed objects which can be found in dungeons or villages. Okay so I think im missing something in the main questline.
